The only weakness was the incisions in the fondant; now that I've done it once I think I'd get it better next time, but they didn't look convincing at all-- not long enough and too spread out. This cake is not something I'd do every day, mainly because of the calorie count it must have, but I do have to say that my fondant came out perfectly. I did follow Rose's instructions about using Spectrum and I guess it must really make a difference-- but I now have enough Spectrum and glycerin to make, probably, 1,027 more of these confections.
